Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Japan has announced five new Blu-ray titles, including the cult classic 'Trainspotting' and fan favorite 'Erin Brockovich', all to be released on April 23rd. All five titles - which also include releases of the Belgium films 'Dark Portals' and 'Michell Vaillant' as well as the Japanese release of 'District B13' - will get 1080p AVC transfers with 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtracks in both English and Japanese ('Dark Portals' will receive a 6.1 Dolby TrueHD track in both languages).

Extras for 'Trainspotting' include a making-of featurette, previously unseen footage, commentary, a music video, and a collection of cast interviews. 'Dark Portals' will have in addition to the main feature, a collection of interviews and multiple audio commentaries. Extras for 'Michell Vaillant' include a making-of featurette of the highway chase scene, storyboard comparisons, and a feature on the music of the film. 'District B13' will benefit from a making-of featurette, a full version of the "Casino Battle", and previously unseen footage. Finally, 'Erin Brockovich' will have a making-of featurette, the documentary "The Real Erin Brockovich", as well as previously unseen footage.

Please note, that none of these titles (with the exception of 'District B13') have been announced for US release at this time, though with them coming out in Japan, those releases shouldn't be far behind.
