British distributors Odeon Entertainment have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray director Don Boyd's
East of Elephant Rock (1977), starring John Hurt, Jeremy Kemp and Judi Bowker. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is September 24th.

East of Elephant Rock is a 1970s British drama inspired by the Ethel Proudlock murder case of 1911. Set in a South East Asian British colony in 1948, the film follows Nash (John Hurt), an Embassy secretary whose affairs with two women, one a native and the other the wife of a plantation owner, have disastrous consequences.
