German home entertainment revenues reached $478 million (€382 million) during the first three months of this year, just slightly below last year's total, which was the second-best ever in Germany. Strong Blu-ray sales and VOD revenues are credited for the strong performance.
Blu-ray sales were up 29 percent to nearly $90 million in the first quarter.
