The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray (Updated)

Anchor Bay Home Entertainment will bring The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season to Blu-ray in August. Picking up immediately after the first season's explosive season finale, Season Two finds former police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln, Love Actually) trying to lead a small band of survivors through the perils of the zombie apocalypse.

When one of their own goes missing, Rick and the group take shelter at the seemingly untouched farm of a veterinarian (Scott Wilson, In Cold Blood) and his extended family. However, this refuge offers unexpected challenges of its own, from both the uninfected humans as well as the ever-approaching zombie hordes.

Anchor Bay is offering this program in two HD iterations - a standard four-disc set and a limited edition version packaged inside a McFarlane Toys zombie head case.

Update: The thirteen Season Two episodes are in their 1.78:1 broadcast aspect ratio with 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio tracks and the following supplements:

• Behind-the-scenes footage and making-of featurettes
• Audio commentaries on selected episodes
