Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects the Academy Award-winning Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Through June 2nd, Amazon is offering the Blu-ray set for 48.99 (59% off its SRP of $119.98).
New Line and Warner Home Entertainment's Blu-ray release of the epic fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is the big-screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's much-heralded literary creation, which details the journey of young hobbit Frodo Baggins to keep the Dark Lord Sauron from acquiring the One Ring and ruling all of Middle-Earth.
This fifteen-disc collection offers director Peter Jackson's extended edition of the trilogy alongside a wide assortment of bonus supplements, including behind-the-scenes documentaries, interviews with cast and crew members, archival footage, and audio commentaries.
The deal expires at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST next Sunday, June 3rd.
