France-based TF1 Video will distribute on Blu-ray Belgian director Lucas Belvaux's (The Law of the Weakest, Rapt) latest film 38 témoins a.k.a 38 Witnesses (2012), starring Yvan Attal, Sophie Quinton and Nicole Garcia. Earlier this year, the film had its premiere at the 41st International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). The preliminary release date set by TF1 Video is July 18th.
38 Witnesses was inspired by the true story of Kitty Genovese, a Queens, New York woman who was murdered with 38 witnesses allegedly failing to answer her screams for help.
