Paramount Home Media Distribution will bring Barbarella to Blu-ray this July. Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda (Klute) stars as the title character, a beautiful astronaut who is thrust into new adventures and intrigues when she lands on the planet Lythion in the year 40,000.
Directed by Fonda's then-husband Roger Vadim (...And God Created Woman), this trippy sci-fi comedy features an eclectic supporting cast that includes John Phillip Law (Danger: Diabolik), Anita Pallenberg (Performance), Milo O'Shea (The Verdict), and Marcel Marceau (Silent Movie).
Paramount's Blu-ray presents the film in its 2.35:1 original aspect ratio with a monaural Dolby TrueHD audio track. The disc also contains the following supplement:
