Studio Canal have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray director Kevin Williamson's Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999), starring Helen Mirren, Marisa Coughlan and Katie Holmes. Technical specs, region-coding status, and supplemental features to be included on this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary release date set by the studio is June 25th.
Leigh Ann Watson (Holmes) is the brightest girl and Grandsboro High, but her dreams of a much-needed college scholarship are sabotaged when her history teacher, the dreaded Mrs. Tingle (Mirren), falsely accuses her of cheating. Desperate to prove her innocence, Leigh Ann conspires with her friends Luke and Jo Lynn on a scheme that will teach Mrs. Tingle a lesson of her own. Before they know it, however, their plan spins hilariously out of contol...and becomes an endless comedy of errors.
