Italian distributors RHV (Ripley's Home Video) will release on Blu-ray director Giuliano Montaldo's
Sacco e Vanzetti (1971), starring Gian Maria Volonte, Riccardo Cucciolla, Cyril Cusack, and Rosanna Fratello. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is April 18th.
Winner of Best Actor Award (Riccardo Cucciolla) at the Cannes Film Festival and Silver Ribbon Award for Best Score (Ennio Morricone) granted by the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists,
Sacco & Vanzetti tells the story of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, two Italian immigrant anarchists, who were accused of murder in 1920, and executed in Boston in 1927, after a notoriously prejudiced trial.

Sacco & Vanzetti was released on DVD by VCI Home Entertainment. However, the DVD is currently out of print.
