Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring Pariah to Blu-ray in April. The full-length theatrical debut of writer/director Dee Rees, this drama focuses on Alike (Adepero Oduye, Half Nelson), a Brooklyn teenager just beginning to assert her lesbian sexuality.
From Universal's official synopsis:
"Whenever Alike's development becomes a topic of discussion at home, her parents' already strained marriage is pushed to the breaking point. Wondering how much she can confide in her family, Alike strives to get through adolescence with grace, humor, and tenacity – sometimes succeeding, sometimes not, but always moving forward."
Universal's Blu-ray presents the film in its 1.85:1 original aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Supplementary materials are still unknown.
