Next month, Magnolia Home Entertainment will bring Roadie to Blu-ray. Ron Eldard (Black Hawk Down), Jill Hennessy (Lymelife), and Bobby Cannavale (Win Win) star in this drama about an aging Blue Oyster Cult roadie forced to confront reality.
From Magnolia's official synopsis:
"Eldard...[plays] Jimmy, a longtime roadie for the legendary Blue Oyster Cult. After touring with the band for over 20 years, he is unceremoniously fired. Broke and desperate, he has no other choice than to move back in with his mother (Lois Smith, Minority Report) in Forest Hills, Queens. Soon he meets up with some of his hard-partying high school friends (Cannavale and Hennessy) who show him how little things can change."
