The British Film Institute has revealed that it is planning to release on Blu-ray a Dual Format Edition of director Peter Greenaway's
The Belly of an Architect (1987), starring Brian Dennehy, Chloe Webb, and Lambert Wilson. The preliminary release date set by the studio is June 18th.
American architect Stourley Kracklite (Dennehy) can't see the beauty in Rome through his pain. Intense stomachaches are crippling him and, worse, he believes his pregnant young wife is having an affair with his archival. As his suspicions turn to paranoia and obsession, and his marriage, health and reputation begin to unravel, this once-respected man becomes consumed by his own self-torture from the inside out.
