Disney Considers 28-Day Rental Delay

Disney CEO Bob Iger has told analysts that the studio is considering a 28-day rental delay, similar to the one 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios have imposed on Netflix and Redbox. However, the studio has not specified yet whether the delay is likely to affect the two rental giants.
According to Mr. Iger, the move would be "a step in the direction of further protecting the initial window of the sell-through."
Warner Brothers are already planning to introduce a 56-day rental delay later this year.
