In March, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring Carnage to Blu-ray. Director Roman Polanski's screen adaptation of the Yasmina Reza stageplay, this blackly comic examination of upper-class privilege and hypocrisy watches as the initially civil discourse between New York City couples Nancy & Alan (Kate Winslet, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Christoph Waltz, Inglourious Basterds) and Penelope & Michael (Jodie Foster, The Silence of the Lambs, and John C. Reilly, Magnolia) to discuss the schoolyard conflict between their respective sons begins to curdle.
Polanski won the Little Golden Lion at the 2011 Venice Film Festival for his direction of Carnage, and stars Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster were nominated for the 2012 Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) Golden Globe.
Sony's Blu-ray presents the film in its 2.35:1 original aspect ratio with 5.0 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. The disc also contains the following bonus supplements:
