Treme: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray

In April, HBO Home Entertainment will bring Treme: The Complete Second Season to Blu-ray. Creators Eric Overmyer and David Simon's acclaimed drama focuses on New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. This sophomore season takes place fourteen months after the disaster and examines some of the new issues - an increased crime presence, the home insurance mishaps leading to the Road Home Program, unscrupulous developers exploiting the city's greatly devalued properties - plaguing Crescent City residents.

In addition to the program's already-impressive ensemble - which includes Melissa Leo (The Fighter), Steve Zahn (Out of Sight), Kim Dickens (Deadwood), Wendell Pierce (Treme: The Complete First Season), Clarke Peters (The Wire), and Khandi Alexander (Menace II Society) - Season Two also sees the addition of cast members Jon Seda (The Pacific) and David Morse (John Adams).

HBO's four-disc package presents all eleven Season Two episodes in their broadcast aspect ratio of 1.78:1 with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. The set also contains a number of bonus supplements, such as:
