BBC High Definition Natural History Collection: Special Edition

This March, BBC and 2Entertain Home Entertainment will bring The BBC High Definition Natural History Collection: Special Edition to Blu-ray. The Blu-ray package bundles together the Planet Earth, Galápagos, Ganges, and Wild China documentary programs.

From the BBC's official synopsis:

"Witness rare action, impossible locations, and intimate moments with our planet's best-loved creatures with the critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning Planet Earth; travel the length and breadth of China and discover the fabulous diversity of its natural wonders in Wild China; visit the home of the most astonishing creatures found anywhere on Earth with Galápagos; and discover a kaleidoscope of color and energy as you explore the river that shaped the wildlife, culture and beliefs of India in Ganges."

Warner's new Blu-ray set is almost identical to the previously available BBC High Definition Natural History Collection; the sole difference is the inclusion of last year's six-disc Planet Earth: Special Edition.

Technical specifications include 5.1 DTS-HD HR soundtracks on Planet Earth and Ganges, 5.1 Dolby Digital audio on Wild China, and 2.0 Dolby Digital sound on Galápagos.

While Galápagos has no supplements, the other programs contain the following bonus features:
