In February, Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment will bring Hugo to Blu-ray. Director Martin Scorsese's screen adaptation of the Brian Selznick novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret stars Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas) as the title character, a young boy who struggles to survive in 1930's Paris after the death of his father (Jude Law, A.I. Artificial Intelligence).
While avoiding detection from both his abusive uncle (Ray Winstone, The Departed) and an officious French inspector (Sacha Baron Cohen, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), Hugo makes the acquaintance of a young girl (Chloë Grace Moretz, Let Me In) whose bitter godfather (Ben Kingsley, Gandhi) keeps a secret that lies at the heart of Hugo's destiny as well as at the very origins of cinema.
