In an early announcement to retailers, British distributors EIV (Entertainment in Video) have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray French director Michel Hazanavicius's highly anticipated period romantic dramedy The Artist (2011), starring Jean Dujardin, Bérénice Bejo and John Goodman. The film is nominated for ten Oscar Awards, including Best Motion Picture of the Year and Best Achievement in Directing. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is May7th.
