In April, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will bring the 1953 screen depiction of the Titanic disaster to Blu-ray. Clifton Webb (Stars and Stripes Forever) and Barbara Stanwyck (Double Indemnity) star as an estranged married couple whose intimate struggles play out against the backdrop of the doomed ocean liner.
Director Jean Negulesco's film won an Oscar at the 1954 Academy Awards Ceremony for Charles Brackett, Walter Reisch, & Richard L. Breen's screenplay and was also nominated for Lyle R. Wheeler, Maurice Ransford, & Stuart A. Reiss' black and white art decoration.
Fox's Blu-ray presents the film in its 1.37:1 original aspect ratio with a monaural DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc also contains the following supplements:
