In March, Warner Home Entertainment will bring
Happy Feet Two to Blu-ray. This animated sequel to the
Academy Award-winning 2006 feature finds Mumble (Elijah Wood,
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) trying to help his son Erik (Ava Acres,
Weeds: Season Six) realize his talents. Mumble and Erik's plans go awry, however, when a great threat to the penguin nation emerges.
Directed by George Miller (
The Road Warrior), the film features an all-star cast that includes Hugo Weaving (
The Matrix), Common (
American Gangster), Sofía Vergara (
Modern Family), Robin Williams (
Good Will Hunting), Hank Azaria (
The Simpsons Movie), John Goodman (
The Big Lebowski), Brad Pitt (
Moneyball), and Matt Damon (
True Grit).
Warner offers
Happy Feet Two in separate Blu-ray versions -
a standard Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack as well as
a Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack. Both sets present the film in its 2.39:1 original aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks.
