Official Trailer for Moonrise Kingdom

Focus Features and Apple have released the first theatrical trailer for Moonrise Kingdom. Filmmaker Wes Anderson's live-action follow-up to the Academy Award-nominated Fantastic Mr. Fox, this whimsical dramedy examines the chaos that erupts in a small New England town, circa the 1960's, after two young camp scouts (newcomers Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward) fall in love and run away together.

Co-written by Roman Coppola (The Darjeeling Limited), the film finds Bruce Willis (12 Monkeys), Frances McDormand (Fargo), Edward Norton (Primal Fear), Bob Balaban (Close Encounters of the Third Kind), Harvey Keitel (Pulp Fiction), and Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton) acting alongside Anderson company players Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore) and Bill Murray (Lost in Translation).

Moonrise Kingdom's scheduled U.S. release date is May 25th.
