In February, CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment will expand the release schedule for Hawaii Five-0: The First Season on Blu-ray. Executive-produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Cowboys & Aliens), this modern revamp of the Jack Lord-starring police procedural focuses on the exploits of a special task force investigating the worst crimes in Hawaii.
With Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin, Whiteout) at its head, the core "Five-O" team consists of Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan, Ocean's Eleven), Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim, Lost), and Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park, Battlestar Galactica).
CBS' six-disc package presents all twenty-four Season One episodes in their 1.78:1 broadcast aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. The set also contains a number of bonus materials, including:
