Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects the 40th Anniversary Edition of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Through January 14th, Amazon is offering this boxset for $27.99 (a 57% discount from its MSRP of $64.98).
Starring Gene Wilder (Young Frankenstein) as eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka, director Mel Stuart's beloved film is the first screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In addition to the film, the Ultimate Collector's Edition contains a wide assortment of bonus supplements, including a commentary with the "Wonka Kids," retrospective and vintage documentaries, and a new 144-page paperback book that covers the picture's production history.
This deal expires at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST next Sunday, January 15th.
