Independent distributors Kino Lorber have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray director Sam Henry Kass'
The Search for One-Eye Jimmy (1994), starring Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Samuel L. Jackson, John Turturro, Jennifer Beals, Holt McCallany, and Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini. The preliminary street date set by the distributors is March 6th.
One-Eye Jimmy (Sam Rockwell) has gone missing and a group of misfits have started looking for him -- Junior (Nicholas Turturro), the thief who steals his friends' cars; Joe Head (Michael Badalucco), who's always losing girlfriends to his grandfather; Lefty (Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini), all brawn and no brain; Disco Bean (John Turturro), who's waiting for disco to make a comeback; Colonel Ron (Samuel L. Jackson), the Vietnam vet who fishes for sneakers; and Madame Esther (Aida Turturro), a fortune teller who sells more hand cream than predictions. Eventually, the F.B.I., the Catholic Church and the Mob also join the search.
