In an early announcement to retailers, the UK branch of Paramount Home Entertainment has revealed that it will release Triple Play and Tripple Play 3D Blu-ray editions of Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn (2011). The studio has not yet revealed the official technical specs and exact supplemental features to be included with these releases. Street date is March 19th.
Based on the series of books The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé, the film is produced by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy (executive producer Back to the Future. The screenplay is by Steven Moffat (TV's Sherlock) and Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz) & Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).
Note: A preliminary release date for the U.S. market has not been revealed yet.
