While Walt Disney Home Entertainment has not set the official home video release date and Blu-ray disc details for The Muppets, Amazon is currently offering a special $5 coupon to be used towards the film's pre-order listing. This promotional discount applies to the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy/Soundtrack combo pack of director James Bobin's family comedy.
Consumers who wish to take advantage of this offer need only to visit The Muppets' pre-order page and click the "Clip this coupon" button located just above the "Special Offers and Product Promotions" section. The button will then turn into the green-bolded statement, "You have clipped this coupon," and $5 will be deducted from the order total at checkout.
Currently, Amazon has set the "Wocka Wocka" combo pack's cost at $34.99, which the coupon drops to $29.99. Should Amazon reduce the price between now and whenever The Muppets officially streets, the $5 discount will also apply to the lower price, provided consumers lock in the coupon while Amazon is still offering it.
The $5 promotion will be available until December 20th.
