While the Criterion Collection will not release their March 2012 Blu-ray slate until December 15th, the distributor has posted another still frame on its Facebook page hinting at a potential title. Criterion will not confirm anything, but most seem to think that the tease indicates a Last Temptation of Christ Blu-ray.
If selected for an HD upgrade, director Martin Scorsese's vivid retelling of the struggle between God and Man inside Jesus Christ (Willem Dafoe, Antichrist) would mark the film's North American Blu-ray debut.
Again, though, nothing has been confirmed. A full detailing of Criterion's March Blu-ray selections will be available on December 15th.
