Next year, Kino Lorber will release Blank City on Blu-ray. Featuring both vintage footage and new interviews with people such as Jim Jarmusch (Mystery Train), Fab 5 Freddy (Rachel Getting Married), Debbie Harry (Videodrome), John Lurie (Paris, Texas), Ann Magnuson (Clear and Present Danger), and Steve Buscemi (The Big Lebowski), director Celine Danhier's documentary covers the "Do It Yourself" independent filmmaking movement that emerged from the punk scene of late 1970's New York City.
Kino's Blu-ray will present the film in its original aspect ratio; further technical and supplementary details are still unknown.
Blank City is expected to street on February 21st, 2012.
