Independent British distributors Metrodome Video will release on Blu-ray Amit Gupta's Resistance (2011), starring Andrea Riseborough, Tom Wlaschiha and Michael Sheen. Based on Welsh writer Owen Sheers' novel, the film offers an alternative look at WW2 in which the D-Day landings have failed and Germany has invaded Britain. Earlier this year, the film had its premiere at the Cambridge Film Festival.
Exact technical specs, special features and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary release date set by the distributors is March 19th.
