Next year, Warner Home Entertainment will bring Unforgiven: 20th Anniversary Edition to Blu-ray. Actor/director Clint Eastwood's revisionist Western centers on a former outlaw (Eastwood, Gran Torino) returning to his murderous ways when he pursues the bounty set on a corrupt sheriff's (Gene Hackman, Superman: The Movie) hired hands.
The winner of four Oscars - including Best Supporting Actor, Best Film Editing, Best Director, and Best Picture - Unforgiven features an impressive supporting cast that includes Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption), Frances Fisher (The Lincoln Lawyer), Saul Rubinek (True Romance), and Richard Harris (Red Desert).
This 20th Anniversary Blu-ray Book Edition appears to be a repackaging of Warner's previous Unforgiven Blu-ray; it presents the film in its 2.39:1 original aspect ratio with a 5.1 Dolby Digital audio track and the following special features:
