Next year, HBO Home Entertainment will bring The Sunset Limited to Blu-ray. Academy Award-winner Tommy Lee Jones (The Fugitive) directs this adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy's play and also stars as a college professor whose suicide attempt is thwarted by a deeply religious ex-convict (Academy Award-nominee Samuel L. Jackson, Pulp Fiction).
The two-character telefilm - which Jones and his crew shot in 12 days at the Garson Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico - focuses on the aftermath of the failed suicide, as Jones and Jackson's characters engage in a highly charged debate about morality, religion, and the potential role that nihilism plays in the universe.
While HBO has not yet specified the Blu-ray's technical specifications, the disc will feature the following supplements:
Audio commentary with Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, and Cormac McCarthy
The Making of The Sunset Limited featurette
