The Assassination of Jesse James Gets Blu-ray Release

Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' to Blu-ray on February 26th, day-and-date with the DVD release. No technical specs have been announced, but expect the usual Warner treatment of VC-1 and a Dolby Digital soundtrack. The only extras will be a 30 minute documentary "Death of an Outlaw" and the theatrical trailer.

'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' delves into the private life and public exploits of America's most notorious outlaw. As the charismatic and unpredictable Jesse James (Brad Pitt) plans his next great robbery, he wages war on his enemies, who are trying to collect the reward money – and the glory – riding on his capture. But the greatest threat to his life may ultimately come from those he trusts the most.
