Next year, Acorn Media will bring George Gently: Series 1 to Blu-ray. This BBC adaptation of Alan Hunter's popular novels follows incorruptible policeman George Gently (Martin Shaw, Cranford) as he navigates through the criminal underground of England's rural North East. From Acorn's official press release:
