Anchor Bay Home Entertainment will release First Squad: The Moment of Truth on Blu-ray next January. Director Yoshiharu Ashino's anime adventure takes a fantastical look at World War II, focusing on a special unit of extraordinarily gifted Soviet teenagers that lead the charge against the German Army.
Their primary objective: to defeat a crazed SS officer intent on reanimating crusaders from the 12th Century Order of the Sacred Cross in order to form an undead Nazi army.
Anchor Bay's Blu-ray presents the film in 1080p widescreen with both a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD English dubbed track and a 2.0 Dolby Digital Japanese (w/English subtitles) track. Anchor Bay has not yet listed any special features for the Blu-ray.
