In December, New Line and Warner Home Entertainment will release Final Destination 5 on Blu-ray. The latest installment in the popular horror franchise, Final Destination 5 stars Nicholas D'Agosto (Fired Up!) as Sam, a young man whose advance premonition of a gruesome bridge collapse leads to sinister repercussions.
As in the previous four entries, those who avoided the accident because of the vision find themselves cursed, pursued by Death, who concocts a series of grisly traps in order to collect the souls he should have taken on the bridge. Emma Bell (The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season), Arlen Escarpeta (Friday The 13th), P.J. Byrne (Horrible Bosses), and David Koechner (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) accompany D'Agosto as the doomed survivors, and Tony Todd (Final Destination) reprises his role as William Bludworth, the coroner all-too familiar with Death's modus operandi.
While New Line has not yet detailed the technical specifications for this Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack - Note: The 3D version is not included - the disc will have a number of bonus materials, such as:
