The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption Blu-ray

Next year, Universal Home Entertainment will bring The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption to Blu-ray. The third entry in The Scorpion King franchise, the film stars Victor Webster (Surrogates) as dethroned king Mathayus who begins a perilous quest to reclaim his empire. From Universal's official synopsis:

"The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption brings the heroic, larger-than-life saga of the dethroned king Mathayus to face some of his fiercest demons and most vicious rivals—both real and supernatural—ever. In a dangerous, action-packed battle to regain his glory and reclaim the empire, Mathayus's journey is steeped in intrigue, sorcery and romance...The film's fight scenes, choreographed by stunt experts Kawee "Seng" Sirikanerut (Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior) and Supoj "Jimmy" Khaowwong (Batman Begins), are showcased within enchanting ancient palaces, against a backdrop of breathtaking desert vistas. Universal's Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack presents the film in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. In addition to Universal's now-standard BD-Live, pocket BLU, Advanced Remote Control, Video Timeline, Mobile-To-Go, and Keyboard functionalities, the disc also features a number of bonus materials, including:

• Preparing For Battle featurette
