French distributors France Télévisions Distribution have revealed that they will release on Blu-ray Vincent Garenq's Présumé coupable a.k.a Guilty (2011), starring Philippe Torreton, Raphaël Ferret, and Wladimir Yordanoff. Earlier this year, Guilty won Label Europa Cinemas Award for Best European Film at the Venice Film Festival. Street date is January 18th.
Guilty tells the true story of 17 people in the small town of Outreau who were wrongly accused of pedophilia and jailed in 2001. The film is based on the memoirs of Alain Marécaux, one of the 17 victims of the miscarriage of justice.
