This November, Image Entertainment will bring Alleged to Blu-ray. The period drama stars Nathan West (Miracle) as Charles Anderson, a young reporter whose life is forever changed when the Scopes "Monkey Trial" of 1925 begins in his hometown of Dayton, Tennessee.
Eager to witness the battle of wills between opposing counsel members William Jennings Bryan (Fred Dalton Thompson, Die Hard 2: Die Harder) and Clarence Darrow (Brian Dennehy, The Next Three Days), Anderson becomes involved with Baltimore Sun editor H. L. Mencken (Colm Meaney, Layer Cake), and the ensuing media circus threatens both Anderson's integrity and his relationship with his fiancée (Ashley Johnson, The Help).
