Official Trailer for My Week With Marilyn

The Weinstein Company has released the trailer for its prestige picture My Week With Marilyn. This docudrama details the tensions that grew between Sir Lawrence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh, Wallander) and Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams, Blue Valentine) during the 1957 production of The Prince and the Showgirl.

In addition to Eddie Redmayne (Black Death), who co-stars as a production assistant in love with Monroe, the film features an impressive supporting cast including Emma Watson (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Julia Ormond (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Toby Jones (The Mist), Dominic Cooper (An Education), Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone), Derek Jacobi (The King's Speech), and Judi Dench (Cranford).

Based on Colin Clark's famed diary accounts - The Prince, The Showgirl, and Me and My Week with Marilyn - the picture marks director's Simon Curtis' feature-film debut. Already, it is generating serious Oscar talk for leading actors Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh.

My Week With Marilyn will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 9th and will then expand its U.S. release schedule on November 4th.
