Official Trailer for Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Warner Bros. has debuted the trailer for their holiday prestige picture Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Director Stephen Daldry's film stars newcomer Thomas Horn as Oskar Schell, a young boy who sets off on a quest of self-discovery through New York City one year after his father (Tom Hanks, Saving Private Ryan) dies in the September 11th attacks.

Written for the screen by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Munich), this adaptation of author Jonathan Safran Foer's 2006 novel boasts an impressive supporting cast including Sandra Bullock (A Time to Kill), Viola Davis (Doubt), John Goodman (Treme: The Complete First Season), Max von Sydow (The Seventh Seal), Jeffrey Wright (Syriana), and James Gandolfini (The Sopranos).

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is scheduled for limited U.S. screenings on December 25th, 2011, before receiving a wide release in the United States on January 20th and on February 3rd in the United Kingdom.
