French distributors Pathe are set to release on Blu-ray Jean-Pierre Melville's classic gangster film Le Samouraï (1967), starring Alain Delon, François Périer, Jacques Leroy, and Nathalie Delon. Technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary release date set by the distributors is December 7th.
Note: In the U.S., Le Samourai is currently available only on SDVD via the Criterion Collection.
