Universal Home Studios Entertainment has confirmed that the 2011 comedy The Change-Up will hit Blu-ray in a Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy combo pack on November 8th.
The David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) film puts a new spin on the body-switch comedy by having a married man with three young kids (played by Jason Bateman) wake up in the body of his single friend Dave (Ryan Reynolds) after a night of heavy drinking. Also starring in the film is Leslie Mann, Olivia Wilde and Alan Arkin.
The Change-Up hit theaters last month to mostly negative reviews and capped off an underwhelming summer for star Ryan Reynolds. The R-rated comedy debuted at the number four slot behind Apes, The Smurfs and Cowboys and Aliens with an opening weekend box office total of $13.5 million.
The Blu-ray release will sport a new unrated extended cut with five additional minutes of footage. The BD-50 disc will include DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 with a 2:40:1 aspect ratio. Special features are listed below.
