Yamaha have released their new Blu-ray 3D player, the BD-A1010, for $499, available to pre-order now. It
features full HD 3D playback with the ability to decode HD audio in the form of Dolby
TrueHD and DTS-MA. The player also has access to a large range of online streaming
options including favourites like NetFlix and Blockbuster on Demand.
The look of the new player matches the existing Aventage range with piano black styling matched with industrial design and it is also one of a dwindling number of universal players, featuring Blu-ray 3D, SA-CD and DVD-Audio playback.
Yamaha have indicated that only the best quality parts have made it into the player to stay in line with the Aventage branding. The player also has an iPhone App available from the App Store and Yamaha have promised an Android app to be available soon on the Android Marketplace.
