Early reports have indicated that Blue Underground plans to release Night Train Murders on Blu-ray next January. First released as either Second House on the Left, New House on the Left, Last Stop on the Night Train, or Torture Train and marketed as the unofficial sequel to Wes Craven's The Last House on the Left, this 1975 horror film focuses on the increasingly brutal assaults inflicted on two teenage girls traveling by train from Germany to Italy. Directed by Aldo Lado (Who Saw Her Die?) and boasting an original score from composer Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in the West), Night Train Murders remains a notorious cult classic.
While the distributor has yet to confirm a full listing of technical and supplementary specifications, Blue Underground's previous DVD edition presented the uncensored version of the film in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1 with a monaural soundtrack and a number of bonus features, including:
