This October, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring Beats, Rhymes, & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest to Blu-ray. Actor Michael Rapaport's acclaimed documentary about A Tribe Called Quest charts the influential hip-hop group's rise to fame through its sudden break-up in 1998. The film features all-new interviews with the members of the group as well as with fans and musicians like the Beastie Boys, Kanye West, Pharrell, Mos Def, Monie Love, De la Soul, the Jungle Brothers, and Common.
Sony's Blu-ray presents the film in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio sound. In addition, the disc features a number of supplemental materials, including:
