Fox announced today that the 2011 romantic drama Water for Elephants will see a U.S. Blu-ray release on November 1st. The Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend) film stars Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz and Hal Holbrook.
Based on Sara Gruen's 2006 novel, Water for Elephants centers on a young Polish American (Pattinson) who is unable to continue his studies at Cornell after his mother and father are killed in a car accident. He then begins working as a vet at the Benzini Brothers Circus and becomes infatuated with the ringleader's beautiful young wife (played by Witherspoon).
The film will be released in a Blu-ray/digital copy combo pack with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Special features will include:
