Raiders of the Lost Ark 30th Anniversary Event with Steven Spielberg

The Los Angeles Times announced this morning that they will be holding a special screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark to commemorate the iconic adventure film's 30th anniversary. The fan event will take place in downtown Los Angeles and feature an appearance by Steven Spielberg, who will participate in a Q&A with Hero Complex's Geoff Boucher after the movie.
According to the LA Times , the screening of the 1981 film will feature a newly restored cut that will be digitally projected courtesy of Regal Cinemas. This will be followed directly by a live-stage interview with Spielberg, which spurs hope that the director will finally shed some info on when fans can expect a Blu-ray release of the first three Indiana Jones films.
The free event will be held on Monday, September 12th at 7 P.M. at the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 in downtown Los Angeles. Anyone can attend by registering for the event online here. Hurry, space is sure to be limited.
