British distributors Optimum Home Entertainment are set to release on Blu-ray Daniel Benmayor's Bruc. El desafío a.k.a Legend Of The Soldier (2010), starring Juan José Ballesta, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Vincent Perez and Nicolas Giraud. Earlier this year, the film was nominated for CEC Award for Best Cinematography at the Cinema Writers Circle Awards in Spain. Street date is October 3th.

Inspired by real events that took place in the Catalan mountains in the 19th century, at the time of the Spanish war against Napoleon, Legend of the Soldier, is about a drummer boy fighting the invaders. His drum rolls would echo in the caves and cliff sides so noisily that French soldiers would flee. After this, Napoleon himself trusts the mercenary Maraval with the mission of defeating the responsible of such humiliation.
