This October, FUNimation has indicated that it will bring Darker than BLACK: Season 2 + OVA to Blu-ray. This second season of the anime picks up two years after Hei and Yin's escape from the Syndicate; their story grows intertwined with a young Russian girl and her family, as well as with an ex-Foreign Affairs officer investigating the Syndicate.
While the full roster of technical and supplemental details for this Blu-ray/DVD combo is still unknown (FUNimation will include both English dubbed and Japanese - with English subtitles - audio tracks), the five-disc set is a special limited edition package, containing episodes 1-12 of Season Two and OVAs 1-4. In addition, early reports suggest that Darker than BLACK: Season 2 + OVA will feature the following bonus materials:
