In an early retail announcement, Inception Media has revealed it will bring Severe Clear to Blu-ray. Director Kristian Fraga's documentary provides a ground-level look at the first wave of the War on Terror, seen through the eyes of First Lieutenant Mike Scotti.
While a full list of technical and supplementary specifications is still unknown for the Blu-ray, the previous DVD release included a number of special features, such as:
Commentary with film critic Matt Zoller Seitz and Fraga
Deleted scenes
Script-to-screen comparison of the Kuwait airlift sequence
Featurette on the creation of the maps made for the documentary
Interviews with Fraga and Scotti
Severe Clear is expected to street on October 25th.
